CAS adopts ‘Decorating The Decades’ theme

MADISON, Wis. – CAS Collectors, the club for those with an interest in the work of Ceramic Arts Studio, announces the 2018 CAS Collectors Convention. This year’s event is Saturday, Aug. 25, in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Convention theme, “Ceramic Arts Studio: Decorating The Decades!” is a tribute to designer Betty Harrington and her many accomplished decorators. Their beautiful work resulted in fabulous figurines that span the decades. Also, CAS creations brightened homes from coast to coast during the 1940s and ’50s, continue to brighten hearts, and wil lfor decades to come.

CAS Focuses on Decorating

From 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., convention attendees will take in the Wisconsin Pottery Association Show & Sale at the Alliant Energy Center. Later, all will gather at Madison’s Howard Johnson Plaza for the Convention festivities. In addition, activities and décor will center around a fun-filled tribute to the Studio’s illustrious heritage. Also, there will be party favors and take-home souvenirs, door prizes, and centerpieces, making for an unforgettable gathering.

The evening will get underway with a social hour, and the popular “CAS On Display Contest.” Everyone in attendance is invited to submit entries. Furthermore, a buffet dinner, raffle, and membership meeting will be followed by the club’s annual auction. Also, events will conclude with door prizes, and presentation of the 2018 CAS Collectors Commemorative.
