June 25-26, 2021 Huntington. The Uhl Collectors Society 36th annual gathering at the Huntingburg Events Center, featuring a member auction, show and sale, dinner, informative displays and exhibits, commemorative distribution, and for the eighth consecutive year, award college scholarships to members and their children or grandchildren. Like the 2020 gathering, all applicable COVID-19 measures will be followed. Uhl Pottery began producing housewares, crockery and art pottery in 1849 first in Evansville then later in Huntingburg, Indiana. After almost 100 years, the Uhl Pottery Company ceased producing the pottery and closed in 1944. Apr 9-10, 2021 Iowa City. Iowa City Postcard and Stamp Show, 4-H Fairgrounds, 4625 Oak Crest Hill Rd SE, Iowa City, IA 52246. Iowa’s premier postcard show, now in its 16th year, was canceled last year due to COVID-19 restrictions, but using precautions and protocols, this year’s show is expected to be a busy and well-attended show and will welcome previous and new dealers including Jim Buzza and Judy Cresap and Bill Burdick of Arkansas. Kevin Lunn of Jewell, Iowa, will be the ever-present US and foreign stamps and coins vendor. Around 10-12 other dealers are expected, as well as 50 to 60 tables of postcards, photos, stamps, paper goods and other collectibles. The Golden Nugget Antique Market, often rated one of the top 10 flea markets on the east coast, will be hosting its first Antique Model Train Show at 1850 River Road, Lambertville, NJ. The Golden Nugget is well known for expert dealers specializing in antique furniture, art, and many collectibles such as coins, stamps, jewelry, vinyl records, depression glass and of course model trains. Golden Nugget manager Mitch Freedman said: “We are basically turning our covered pavilion into a train station for the day. ***POSTPONED TO 2022: The 58th annual Fort Worth Show of Antiques, Art & Jewelry, originally scheduled for April 9-11, 2021, has been postponed to 2022.  LUXE EVENTS, in coordination with the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, said that the show had already been moved from March to April in the hope that the COVID-19 vaccine roll out would be swift, but this is one of a series of large public events being cancelled in the Fort Worth-Dallas area due to lingering impacts of the pandemic. "For the first time in 58 years, antiques and art lovers will miss the nation-wide event founded in Fort Worth in 1963.
