Brad Gougeon presents a program on Atterbury Glass at a prior convention. Atterbury & Company began making milk glass in the 1850s and is a favorite of milk glass collectors.

Convention activities include a 250-piece auction with pieces of interest to the beginning collector through rare, one-of-a-kind items. A dealer room sale will offer more opportunity to view, handle and purchase interesting pieces. The NMGCS convention is chance to see milk glass that is not seen during antique excursions or estate sales.

The first collector convention was held in Nashville, Tennessee in 1984, and the National Milk Glass Collectors Society was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1987.
