Jim Rosowski received his PhD in Biology from the University of Arizona – Tucson and then went to Lincoln in 1969 to teach at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He retired in 2007. One day, he wandered into Seward and had lunch at a corner cafe. As he walked out, he saw that the 123 S 6th St building was for sale. A few weeks later, he bought it and Blue Heron Antiques was born.
