Not only did a 19th century Chinese porcelain screen, consisting of four large panels and depicting a mountain scene with elders, sell for $121,000 to claim top in a recent auction hosted by Elite Decorative Arts, it exemplified the expanding popularity of Chinese porcelain plaques and screens, Elite Decorative Arts staff report.
