SAN CARLOS, Calif. — On March 5 and 6, Antiques & More, 1148 El Camino Real, San Carlos,
California, will celebrate its second anniversary with a gala weekend filled with food, drink, music, and sales galore.
Antiques & More is a collective of 20 dealers who specialize in an eclectic variety of antiques and collectibles. Among the items commonly offered at this collective are vintage hair combs and eye wear, porcelain figurines, silver, furniture, a variety of Hawaiiana (including post cards, menus, souvenirs, and shirts), sports memorabilia, magazines, buttons, books, vintage jewelry for every taste, including estate jewelry, Native American, ethnic, cameos, Disney, men’s, Bakelite, and costume jewelry, beautiful vintage clothing, hats, shoes, linens, paintings, and prints. You’ll also find vintage vinyl records, typewriters, toys, lamps, Depression glass, crystal, Asian art. We have a variety of styles in furniture, including many tables, bookcases, Hoosier cabinets, china hutches, chairs, and even a fireplace mantel.
For the model train enthusiast, there are trains and accessories including American Flyer, Lionel, Marx and other brands. Doll house enthusiasts should be sure to check out the miniatures offered.
The anniversary celebration is slated for 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days. On Saturday, Ron O’Rourke returns to entertain with his musical talents. The dealers at Antiques & More will provide a buffet of hot and cold appetizers, as well as sweets and beverages. Most dealers will be in attendance to share their knowledge of their specialties with customers. Each day there will be a drawing for a $25 store gift certificate. Many dealers will be offering sales from 10 to 50 percent off.
